The Old Maltings, Bedford Road Demolition & Brick Reclamation Project

Eddie Bricks completed a structural deconstruction and historic brick reclamation project at The Old Maltings on Bedford Road (demolished February 2020). Our team combined mechanical deconstruction using excavators with manual brick sorting and palletisation, carefully recovering traditional red and multi-toned bricks from the structure. This efficient approach successfully diverted valuable heritage building materials from waste streams, preparing them cleanly on pallets for future architectural reuse
